Default FCC Approves Oakley Motorola RAZRWire

http://www.mobiletracker.net/archives/2005/06/20/oakley-razrwire-motorola

"Oakley and Motorola have gained FCC approval (ID IHDT6FA1) of RAZRWire, the hybrid product that combines Oakley sun glasses with a Motorola Bluetooth headset. The product is scheduled to ship in the second half of this year. RAZRWire will come in three different frame colors, all with high-quality Oakley optics. The frame is made of a metal alloy that is 40% lighter than titanium."

If you're looking to combine some cool-looking sunglasses with a Bluetooth headset, the RAZRWire looks like a slick solution.

This is a cool idea, but what if I wanted to use my bluetooth headset at night? It doesn't sound like the earpiece will detach from the sunglasses - which means I'll be wearing my shades at night while driving and talking on my phone. 8O That can't be good. :?

The headset coming off doesn't bother me. I already have two BT headsets I have been thinking about getting the Jabra BT800 to add to my collection, but I have heard bad things. Anyway, I love Motorola Headsets and Oakley Sunglasses, I just hope I can get these in a prescription as I can not wear contacts.
