Engadget gets Hands-On with the New Motorola Q
"...from the five minutes we spent with the Q we can tell you that yes, it is incredibly thin, that it has a nice, crisp screen, and that the keyboard was fairly easy to use (though to really judge a smartphone keyboard you have to live with it for a little while). Fun fact: the 'Q' stands for 'QWERTY', as in 'QWERTY keyboard'" Looking for some real life action shots of the newly announced Motorola Q, Engadget has some. Unfortunately they don't have any pictures comparing it against another phone. But they do have some pictures of the black version.

That thing looks GREAT - but I wonder about the size. I really like that I can fit the C500 in the front pocket of my jeans, this thing looks too wide. :?

I'd like to know a bit more about the insides. Memory for example.

I'd like to put this head-to-head with the moboDA 3360. When you consider which has the keyboard and which has the number pad, it makes you wonder whether it's the Moto that should be the PPCPE and the 3360 that should be the Smartphone. Size-wise, they look very similar. :|

I'd also like to know how much of this is based on the MPX2200. In other words does it have the same code base or is it a complete new handset designed from the ground up including sofware. If it is based on the MPX series in anyway I'm staying clear!

Phonescoop also has a nice size comparison shot to the existing V3 RAZR.
This device looks hot :shocked!: and with the upcoming 'push' email features on the new Exchange 2003 service pack 2 release it is going to be the next exec 'must have'.
