Do You Want a Cradle for your HTC Typhoon aka Orange C500?
"UK designed and made to fit your phone. The stable resin base and USB 2.0 cable makes sync and charging operations simple AND provides a home for your phone instead of dumping it on your desk." I like phone cradles myself and here is one for you Typhoon owners.

USB 2.0? Is there something I need to know here? USB 2.0 and C500, SMT5600 don't both fit in the same sentence. Do they?

This would be great to see, but the eBay auction is at $65 CND, which is rather pricey (I understand it though, this is a hand-made one-off). I can't believe no one has made one commercially though... :?

The other thing I don't like (next to the price that Jason mentioned), is that these are all designed around sync'ing only. I want a cradle to charge with. I sync over Bluetooth, so a sync cradle is of no use to me. I want something I can place my phone on at night and find it fully charged in the morning. :?

There was this one from a couple months back. It's a sync and charge one, but the price is better.

Couldn't you just plug it into your cradle/USB port and let it charge overnight? Am I missing something? Or do you not have the computer on overnight?

how likely would us "Feeler" aka SP3i users be successfully to use this cradle? I need one or two desperately.

I use a laptop, which is sitting on the kitchen table overnight. That's part of the problem. My laptop is as mobile as my phone is. So I don't like to have any extra things hanging of it. I would prefer a nice little stand at the side of my bed where I could place my phone when I go to sleep. Exactly the same as I do with my Pocket PC.

The SP3i is a little wider than the SP3/C500. So it really depends on how they fashioned the base of the stand. :? It looks to me like it might work, but I can't say for sure.
