Microsoft is holding the Xbox 360 launch event in the middle of the desert somewhere in the United States, on November 16th. No further details are available yet, but they are holding a contest where the Grand Prize for 360 lucky people is a trip to the launch event, an Xbox 360, three launch titles, and a one-year subscription to Xbox Live. Yeah, I'm not quite sure myself. Microsoft has been doing quite a few of these viral marketing schemes over the past couple of years, but I think they're getting a bit played out. People are seeing them for what they are: an advertisement.
No word yet on my entry, but keep your fingers crossed! Otherwise I may not get an Xbox 360 until 2006!! :?
