I just bought an XBox 360 Pro yesterday with the 20gig drive, but when I do a game save, it only shows 9.9gigs available. Is that right? I know that the formula for determining drive space makes you loose some in the "actual" space available, but this seems a little excessive. Any ideas?

It is a little misleading, isn't it? Mine was the same way. As far as i can tell, you are missing 10 gigs to things like updates, gamer profiles, caches that games themselves make on the hard drive, and profiles for emulating original Xbox games.

I haven't worried about it. I've got a couple gigs free but all I need to do is delete a couple demos to get the space back.
