The survey, conducted by NOP on behalf of Olista, which provides services for cellular operators, found that 64 percent of respondents who actually tried to use mobile data services said they'd give up trying after one or two attempts if they ran into trouble. Only two percent said they would seek help from the operator. About 25 percent said they'd continue trying on their own."

Give up after only 1 or 2 attempts? That doesn't sound very geek-like to me. This seems much more reasonable when you take into consideration the average cell phone owner. Still, 1 or 2 attempts is hardly trying at all. :roll:

I'd give up after 1 or 2 tries for any of those as well. I'm not willing to put forth much effort to download a ringtone.

I've talked to people who told me it took them hours to figure out how to send a text page! We take a lot for granted sometimes, being geeks and all. Well except me of course. :mrgreen:
