What's your favorite kind of cookie?
There's not really much point to this post, other than the fact that I've been thinking about cookies for about four hours now and thought I'd spread it around a little.
My favorite kind of cookie is good old-fashioned chocolate chip with no nuts.
Coming in at a close second is a delicious batch of home made chocolate chip and candied fruit chunk cookies I had a few Christmases ago.
So...what do you like?

For homemade cookies I have to agree, plain chocolate chip cookies with nothing else in 'em, hot and gooey from the oven......
for bought cookies, I can't think of a better cookie than the Girl Scouts "Caramel deLite". I think they used to call them "Samoas" or something like that. yum yum yum

Slight variation here.....
Chocholate peanut butter chip cookies. From the recipe, half the amount of chocholate chips it calls for, make up the difference with peanut butter chips. (Then throw in a few more chocolate chips to up the chocholate/peanut ratio and just to make sure every single bite is delicious! )

Another variation -- a bakery I know has chocolate cookes with peanut butter chips -- best when still warm and the peanut butter chips are kind of gooey.
It's Girl Scout cookie time again around our office, and there's a new kind this year, filled with strawberry jam. I haven't seen any samples yet.
This is not a good thread to be reading in that mid-afternoon time when sugar levels are low.

I'll go for the plain chocolate-chip cookies too. Yum!
That said, I've just discovered Pepperidge Farm's new French Vanilla Milanos. They've rapidly ascended in my cookie rankings. If you have the opportunity to check 'em out, do so.

Well, I'm inclined for chocolate chip (I sense a correlation here- Pocket Pc Owners Enjoy Chocolate Chip Cookies (or Chocolate Chip Owners enjoy Pocket Pcs). Anyway, peanut butter comes in a close second.
As for store-bought? Oreos get my vote.

My own customized recipe for chocolate chip cookies, followed by (tied) ginger snaps and snickerdoodles.

Lol, no, I like gooey, if that's a word, chocolate chip cookies, and then the doublefudge or peanut butter!
