"A mobile phone is a cherished possession of most people these days. For many, they are second only to oxygen. Hence, monsoon brings every reason to protect these valuable lifelines. And how does one protect these delicate devices from the pouring monsoon? Cover them up, get them a raincoat - laminate them, if you are not for getting one of those many plastic covers available in the market."
Laminate?! Ok, that seems a little extreme to me. When I took my kids to the waterpark over the weekend, I used an extremely low-tech solution to this problem - ZipLock. I just dropped my phone in a plastic bag and zipped it shut. If I wanted even more protection I could have used the freezer bags which are a little sturdier. Either way, it worked like a charm. Now, I sure the waterpark is nothing like a monsoon, but I think my solution would work very well in those conditions. What extents have you gone to to protect your phone from the weather?

Ziplock bags all the way, even on my PPC's. Just place PPC in bag, zip up, use regular mechanical pencil or pen lightly on screen for stylus, and there you go!
