OK, this is killer news for those of us who have to deal with Apple fanboys on a daily basis. Seems Symantec has done a study that finds the following:
MOST SECURE OS
Microsoft Windows
Red Hat Linux
Mac OSX
hehehe, sorry Mac fanboys, your OS ain't so stable afterall! :0)
Interesting stuff - running a Linux server like we do, I'm definitely aware of how not true the whole "Linix is invulnerable" concept that some hardcore Linux guys espouse. I think most of the real damage today in computing comes from social engineering hacks, where it's not about the operating system, it's about the user making a stupid decision.
