Default Three albums

If you had the absolute best stereo system in existance (past, present or future) but you could only have three albums to listen to for the rest of your life, what would they be? Please list artist as well as album title.

My three:

Sarah McLachlan, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Jann Arden, Living Under June
Avril Lavigne, Under My Skin

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (or maybe "The Wall")
Yes - Yessongs
Frank Zappa - You Are What You Is

Well, two of them go on pretty much automatically:

The Dandy Warhols - Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia
Gomez - Liquid Skin

Both highly recommended -- see the Amazon reviews if you don't believe me.

as for the third - I don't have one. About 10-15 albums of mine could fit in here, from every musical genre (for example, I'd love to hear Beethoven's 7th symphony, especially the 4th movement, on SACD on a real stereo system). As of the moment, though, perhaps Orbital's In Sides. It was a relatively hard album to get into for me, but truly worthwhile.

I don't know that I could really pick out my absolute top 3. But here's what I would choose if I wasn't allowed "best of" albums, and I wanted 3 very different selections for variety.

Yes - Fragile
Erasure - I Say I Say I Say or maybe Chorus
Indigo Girls - Strange Fire

Arthur Lee & Love - Forever Changes
U2 - The B Sides
Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed

Well at least one of them is less than 30 years old.

Well itīs a tuff one. Basicly listen to only the same albums for the rest of my life would make me mad, but if it had to be here goes:
Miles Davis - Kind of blue
Stevie Wonder - Songs in the key of life
Tue West - Tue West (Danish artist)

I'm going to cheat and burn my own CDs.

Disc One:
1/3 Beck: Mutations
1/3 Steeleye Span: Below the Salt
1/3 Leo Kottke: Six and Twelve String Guitar

Disc Two:
1/2 Marilyn Manson: Antichrist Superstar
1/2 Rammstein: Mutter

Disc Three:
1/2 Dylan: Bringing It All Back Home
1/2 Frank Zappa: Zoot Allures

If there's room for any extra tracks, I'd fill it with some Placebo from the Sleeping With Ghosts album.
