Default Shrinking Video Resolutions for the PPC

Does anyone know how to shrink a video to a smaller resolution for my Loox 720? I just bought Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy from CinemaNow in WMV format. And is DivX a better format than WMV? If so, how do I go about converting the format? I probably don't really need the instructions...just the tools, etc.

Not a whole lot does - can you try reencoding through WMP on the PC itself? I believe they have a mobile device option, where you can reencode media to the appropriate size/bitrate. I haven't tried this myself (been avoiding wmv/wma like the plague), but I've heard of people who have. Only problem of course is that it's sticks to the wmv/wma container format.

Thanks, but I eventually found out that the video was not for keeps. The video expired in, around, 4 days, which by that time, would no longer work.
