Thanks Gordo, you did a nice job. Here is the back of mine

Not pretty, but that is the point, there is no way to pretty up all the wires and stuff, so the next best thing is to put them out of the way. Plus, like this, makes upgrading and changing cabling a snap. One upgrading I'm making as I have to change wiring is to replace the zip ties with velcro straps.

Most functional desk I've ever had and it cost under $200. Very easy to build, the only hard part was drilling the holes in the countertop (I made them flush with 0 gap around the poles. It is being supported by a wire shelf underneath.

I did take the lessons you learned and applied them to my solution. The desk holes were larger, making the placement easier.

Using velcro is a great idea; I think I will also steal that one

Small shot of my home office. There's another side with my servers to the left, but it's messy over there

Wow, that's cool! Love the final outcome!

Not as cool as some already shown, but for me this is quite functional...

Nice office! How long ago were these shots taken? I noticed the Xbox 360 doesn't have NXE.

Default My Lair

My "Norad of Northern Kentucky". Since these pictures were taken, I have replaced my 22" screens with 24" ones (a little mod needed to fit on the Ergotron tri-monitor stand).

Not in view is my 8 core Xeon, 32GB RAM, 12 hard drive, 3 UPS monstrosity.
