I never get jaded by these things. Many years ago I paid about $2000 for a 40mb hard drive from HP. OK it was many many years ago. It was as big as two shoe boxes taped together. Look at where we are now! I love this stuff.

No. Only in SDHC compatible devices, of which there currently are none. To the best of my knowledge, this card won't work with any existing smartphone.
