Default Samsung Electronics Develops Largest Flexible LCD Panel

http://www.anandtech.com/news/shownews.aspx?i=25354

"The folks over at Samsung claim that they have developed the world's largest flexible LCD screen. The screen measures 7" diagonally and has a resolution of 640x480. The flexible transparent plastic used in the TFT-LCD may allow the screens to be used in clothing (we're in for it now!!!): Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., announced today that it has developed the world's largest transmissive TFT LCD (thin-film transistor, liquid crystal display), with sufficiently high resolution to display digital television content."

So if everyone has one of these on their backs say, when standing in line everyone could watch TV on the person in front of them! Well I thought it was an interesting idea.

What if you had a little camera on your front and the display on your back showed what it saw. Then the people behind you would be like looking through you. Woa, dude, that's spooky.

This thing is transmissive. That means it needs a backlight, right? Do we have flexible backlights to pair this with? We do, don't we?
