I felt that I should pay my repects to Mr. Jennings for his effort to give us the news when it really mattered. Out of the big 3 (ABC, NBC, CBS) I still gravitated to Mr. Jennings. I grew up with him and always had respected his reporting.

I was shocked to hear he had cancer in April and fully expected that he'd be back reporting in a year...unfortunately, that wasn't to be.

My thoughts are with the family and he will be greatly missed.

While I never particularly had any feelings about Mr. Jennings & his work, it is always sad to see someone struggle through such a horrible illness, and ultimately be taken by it. For many around the world, he will be missed.
