Off Topic: Black and Chrome - Not Just for Bikers!

So I was perusing the news wires today, and came across a link to Lik-Sang, a provider of console mods in the southeast Asia. My technolust flared up instantly when I saw these faceplates and controller housings for the Xbox 360. I don't know when it started, or why, but I just love Chrome. Silver is ok, white is just boring, but if it isn't black or chrome, it just doesn't look "high-tech" or "cool" to me. How about you guys? Any cool mods or finishes you've seen that make you think "dang, that's sweet!"

Wow, that chrome controller is pretty sweet.

I like the concept of Xbox 360 faceplates, but I think without a full body skin, they look out of place. DecalGirl offers something fresh. If you're a Spiderman fan, then Webslinger seems like an essential "mod".
