Default New Magneto Screenshots

http://www.mobile-review.com/exhibit...ung-2005.shtml

Screenshots of Magneto in action have been few and far between. Here is two from Samsungs new smartphone, which will have a built-in 3GB HD and acts as a USB hard drive (without activesync). Notice the softkey menus.

Cant wait for this to show up. Hopefully not too long.

Actually I look forward mostly to the usability improvements. Notice in that screen shot there is no OK icon in the corner, just the OK softkey. No need for pulling out the stylus.

Its a pity they did not decide to use any eye candy however (the softkeys onscreen look pretty ugly) but I see a significant improvement in one-handed usage.

Uh, that's a Smartphone. Since it is not a touch screen you could tap all day long and have little effect. Hence no X.

I'm looking forward to the improvements to Pocket Word and Pocket Excel. Come on, even the Palm OS devices have QuickOffice available to them, and they can handle Word and Excel docs much better than the offerings from MS.

while we are speaking about improvements, the time has come for microsoft to implement a usable open file dialog
