Ah, so those imaginary pills do work
I live in Baltimore and it has been cold but not the worst. Of course when the wind blows that is bad, but for the most part not unbearable.
Supposedly some snow during the night but I do not know how accurate that is.

Yup, pretty nice here. I didn't even wear a jacket when I went for lunch today. Nice treat (it was well below freezing a week or so ago).

A co-worker from Toronto is in town and she says when it gets this cold there, they call them Calgary clippers for some reason. Apparently the really cold temperatures get pushed out when we're having nice weather or something? I really don't know. Has anyone heard of this (sorry to turn this into a meteorlogical Q&A).

A couple weeks ago it was -16 F

Thats -30, and, add on windchill.

Lets just say I want the weather to last in Calgary - no more minuses! It takes a while to get warm in my van! And leather seats are friggin cold!

It was 75 degrees here todayin Dallas, TX. I had the A/C on high in my car, I wish it would cool off a little It's been freezing like twice so far this year. The tradeoff is that in the summer it's friggin 100+ all the time.

Well, to make you guys feel a little bit better ... It is flooding downhere in jakarta. TV reports mentioned that water is 70 cm above the streets on some parts of the city. Luckily my apartment building is on a relatively high area, so we are not troubled by flood yet. The rain is expected to reach maximum level during the month of january/february. The problem is, electricity is usually shutted down when water reached 30-40 cm. Which reminds me to do grocery shopping today. I dont want to be trapped inside my apartment with no electricity and no food/water.

My deck thermometer is reading -19F. That is without the windchill!! It has been this way for over a week now. Cold, Cold, Cold. And to think winter is only 1/2 over.

But instead, I am sitting at my desk at work...

Shush! Don't say such a thing! I managed to avoid shoveling, but had a long commute. And it's still freakin' cold...
