I am thrilled to see up that over forty serious developer companies are bringing really cool software to the Smartphone. I know IA Style has been busy readying its Smartphone software for quite a while and just in time for the launch last week they relased IA Album for Smartphone! IA Album for Smartphone version 1.5 is "...the first combined photo album, slide show, and optional image/video capture software solution for Microsoft Windows® Powered Smartphones. IA Album for Smartphone lets you browse images stored in the mobile phone's memory or Storage Card, and enjoy view them in a variety of view modes and orientations. You can view JPEG, still and animated GIF, and BMP images, as well as play AVI (QuickTime video) files. And all files (including video) can be played in an automated slide show, complete with eye-catching transition effects. You can even choose one of your favorite pictures to use as the background on the Smartphone's Home screen."

This is a program I think I'd actually use on my phone. It would be nice to carry around my photos on my phone (I carry them on my PPC right now).

Too bad I live in the U.S. ... <sigh>

(Actually, I'm a pretty patriotic American this smartphone thing is just bugging me)
