Default How many e-mails do you get every day?

How many e-mail messages do you get every day? How many of those are spam? How many are "Topic Reply Notifications"?

I get about 20-30 a day, and haven't gotten a single piece of spam since I changed ISPs this summer.

I average 20-50 a day, not including forum reply notices.

I voted 50-80, but it may actually be more than that. I've got alias forwarding on all of my newer addresses, so I don't get any spam from those.

Unfortunately, I have some email addresses that are both ancient and published in literature that's been distributed around the country AND heavily posted in newsgroups. Those get mostly spam at this point.

I tried the forum reply notices for awhile, but I just couldn't take the volume. I figure that I'm here often enough to render the reminders unnecessary anyway.

I get less than 10 real emails on my paid account, a month. Hotmail over 500 day, Spam, and and about 10 per month from my friends chain mails....

20 - 50 a day between my three accounts. That being said, 75% is probably spam :devilboy:

I'd say about 50-80 without spam and without the PPCT news queue. With those two, I'm probably getting 150-200 messages. :|

Default Too Many

I get about 300 a day, with about 290 being Spam. I use yahoo to filter my mail (work email -> yahoo mail (for filtering) -> outlook). This works out well, as I can access my server's SMTP service to send with the appropriate "from: " line. Out of the 10 real messages, about 5 are newsletters, 5 are from actual people!.

I've had the same email since July 1998, so its quite published as well, and people still know to get me at it. Its so bad now, though, that on my webpage, i've had to create an e-mail form that can be used to send mail straight to me, but not give out my email address on the page or the HTML.

probably about 20-50 emails per day - almost all spam.

Fortunately I don't have to see most due to my email provider's spam filtering system.

I think, between all my email accounts, probably about 200 without any spam. Lots. 8O
