Default Flame Fractals Desktop Wallpaper

http://content.techrepublic.com.com...11-33277-1.html

"Witness the beauty and elegance of mathematics with 50 breathtaking fractals. Webshots member rajah created these Fractal Flames with Apophysis--a freeware Windows application with which you can design and render fractal flames. According to http://apophysis.wikispaces.com/ and http://www.flam3.com/, Fractal Flames were created by Scott Draves in 1992 and are an "extension of the iterated function system class of fractals"."

This is completely off-topic, but I thought these were so cool they were worth posting - have a great weekend everyone!

Kind of on the same off-topic topic, here's a cool site that has a ton of different wallpapers designed for standard, widescreen, and dual-monitors. It even has a digg-style rating system.

There are some great wallpapers there, but whomever configured the server is smoking crack - when I click on an image in Firefox, it loads in a new tab, and when I right-click on the image to save it, I get a PHP file. I tried in IE7, and it gives me a BMP.

Worst of all, there's no contact information that I could find...

LOL, I noticed the same thing, if you just type a name.jpg it will save as a jpg (I think).

Odd. I didn't have any trouble saving the images with Firefox.

Anyway - they are beautiful and thank you, Jason, for pointing them out.
