bfg 6600gt vs xfx 6600gt

kaitanium Theorist Join Date: Apr 2005 Posts: 307		bfg 6600gt vs xfx 6600gt ahhhh i dont know which one to decide on!!! any tips people? the regular xfx 6600gt is $50+ cheaper than a oc bfg one. i dont know if the bfgs higher price is worth the extra few percentage rendering gains and warranty.

guinness Intellectual Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 238		I've found that it's pretty simple (and reasonably safe) to overclock Nvidia's cards with the Coolbits tweak, go with the cheaper card.

jnev Pupil Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 14		stay away from xfx. horrible customer service and a high (er) failure rate than other brands. i have a evga 6600gt and it works very well. i've heard god things about bfg as well.
