Turns out the Zune is not exactly, you know, "Social"...

That's right. Turns out the Zune is anything BUT social.

I just spent the better part of an hour with a fellow zuner TRYING to share tracks wirelessly via the AMAZING "social"...

Both of us are zunepassers, and so we both have extensive collections on our 30gig units. So we started trying to swap some tracks to share new artists with one another...care to guess our success rate?

About 1 in 20!!!!!! That's right, time after time after time, we would initiate transfers only to have them fail due to "rights restrictions"!

Needless to say, I won't even ever bother to try and share a track in the future! At a minimum, EVERY track should carry a marker for "shareability" if it's going to be so limited.

I am about the biggest zune/zunepass advocate on the planet, but the wireless sharing thing...total BS...
