The DC-800 is a great unit - very easy to use and works great. I don't have a line-in on my car stereo, so I've been using cassette adapters, which is sub-optimal. If I had line-in, I would stick with the DC-800. Right now it's installed under the passenger seat, so it takes up no room and it's out of sight. I highly recommend it if you have the connection for your head unit.
