Default Blackjack connection to Suncom inet data

I am on the suncom network and purchased a unlocked Blackjack. I am hoping that someone here knows how to get the phone connected to data. I'm sure this can be done, but the suncom rep told me it was impossible.

Please help. Thx.

When you say connected to data do you mean using the phone as a modem or just using the phone directly on the internet etc? BTW where is suncom?

Suncom is or was a ATT/Cingular affiliate in southern VA/NC/SC/FL areas

Triton still has some of their stuff up - try this
http://suncominternal.wdsglobal.com/wapcare - the Blackjack isn't on there but perhaps....

I would think since their data infrastructure is Cingular's that you just put in Cingular's wap settings and MMS settings so try this as well

Holy Ugly URL batman

Thanks everyone. I'm not sure what I did but I'm connecting now. It may have been as simple as removing the cingular GPRS settings and adding one named suncom:

Connects to: The internet
Access Point: internet
Username and all other fields blank...

I punched in some secret code to make the phone only work on GPRS vs. the combo with CDMA but don't think that did anything.

I would like to be able to connect my laptop to the phone and use the GPRS data connection for the laptop... is that possible?

Default Suncom and Samsung Blackjack Unlocked Experience

How is it working with Suncom? Any problems and do you recommend it?
