Default Just recieved a Motorola MPX as a gift - YES THE MPX300 - no

I just have the phone and cord. No manuals or CDs or anything else.

Doesn anyone know how to reset this thing? Better yet, can anyone tell me where to find an instruction manual for this?

I can't find anything on the internet for this either. I even went to the Motorola website and it's not even listed there. I guess I'm just lucky to have this thing, but I still would like to clear everything out before I try to sync it with my pc.

that's a pretty nice gift! I don't know what to tell you about reseting it. Prehaps a really good google search will turn up some ideas. :? Sorry, I know it's not much help, but it's all I can offer.

Ok... by chance, I tried holding down the ALT key on the keyboard while I turned on the phone and voila! I reseted it.

I can't tell you I'm crazy about this phone just yet. It's VERY cool but personally, I like a phone/PDA that's more of a phone with the ability to store all my Outlook contacts, calander etc... This is basically a Pocket PC shaped like a phone.

Since I currently depend on my MPX220, I'll probably ease my way into this phone, but I don't think I'll be taking it on the road as my primary device. It's wayyyyy to complicated for me to get used to overnight so I'll have to give it some time.
