Custom iTap Dictionary

I'm lost on what probably is an easy problem.

When my phone does not know a word that I enter (in iTap Mode) I can get the right word by using the up and down arrow keys while entering the word.

When I hit space I guess I presumed the thing would put the new word in some kind of a custom dictionary. My V600 does that...

Does not seem to play on the MPx 220. I can't find squat in the documentation.

Any hints??
