Default AS 3.8

I'm using Active Sync 3.8 on Win XP and I'm trying to sync my MPX220 continuously. After about 10 minutes of being connected, the connection is dropped. I have verified that the physical connection is good since the unit is still showing that it is charging.

Any help would be appreciated.

Isn't there some setting for disconnect when idle? I'm not sure. It's been a while since I used 3.8

You might want to consider upgrading to 4.2.

i had this same problem with my old Audiovox 5600. i could never figure out for the life of me why it kept doing that. i finally came to the conclusion that it was either the phone or the pc... so i did a clean install on both and never had the problem again

before taking such drastic measures though, try a soft reset on both the handset and the pc and see if that helps

Another option would be to just get rid of your phone, get rid of your PC and just live a simple life free of gadgets and toys...
