Default What Bluetooth GPS are you using with your SMT5600?

I have the Delorme Earthmate USB receiver for my laptop, and am getting an SMT5600 soon. I was thinking of getting a Bluetooth GPS receiver to work with the phone when funds allow, and checked out the Delorme site to find that the Bluetooth powerpack is $150, with a $50 mail-in rebate. I don't trust rebates.

A BlueLogger GPS is $150 too, but it is unclear whether it supports everything the Earthmate does. (ie will I be able to use it as a normal GPS)

Anyway, i would love to hear what GPS hardware and software my fellow Typhoon users use. Any decent mapping software for the phone?

I've been using the Pharos BT 360 and Microsoft Streets and Trips. I don't like the Microsoft software on my SMT5600, but it's all I have right now.

The Pharos GPS works very well. I've also testing with the XV6600 PocketPC Phone Edition unit (Verizon), and an old BT-capable iPaq (5500-series?). Works great.

I have two units: Holux GR-230 and i.Trek, both bought at Semsons.com. They work fine the Audiovox SMT5600 (before and after the 'conversion' to SP3) and the Moto MPx220.

I just got a Globalsat BT-338 with the new SiRF Star III chipset. I'm using it with Mapopolis and its a great combination with my SMT 5600. It has quick acquisition and long battery life. This replaced a Belkin (same as Fortuna Clip-on) that died and Belkin discontinued them so I couldn't get a warranty exchange. The Globalsat was only $169 at buygpsnow.com. And don't forget the miniSD card for all those maps!

Pharos BT GPS Here. I wish I could figure out a reason why I can't get it to work with Mapopolis for Smartphone, though.
