Sorry somehow missed this post.

Regarding the auto-switching to the new email screen. I don't think it is automatic. My Dash or other Smartphones do not switch to the new mail screen automatically.

I have to click on the "Message" (right soft key) key when a new email is received to go to that screen. The phone replaces the Contacts soft key with Message or Voicemail key when there is a new email or voice. But it never switches to the email screen.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to look through some items may or may not have set during the setup process.
