Default The QWERTY Slider SMT5800 Now Available on Verizon Website

http://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp?Id=3964&source=SIDEBARHOME

"Monday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Verizon Wireless slid the SMT5800 into the limelight. This smartphone, based on Windows Mobile 6 Standard, features a regular numeric keypad on the front, but also hides a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for convenient text entry. ... The SMT5800 is available today online, and should be available in Verizon's physical stores by the 21st of January. Pricing is $199.99 with 2-year contract, data plan, and mail-in rebate."

Before I began writing this post I decided to look up the previous news posts regarding the SMT5800, and was amazed to find that we had talked about it for the first time in December of 2006! Cannot believe that it took Verizon more than a year to get this device launched. For those who are eagerly waiting to get their hands on this slider, head over to the Verizon Web site where you can buy this smart phone for $200 after an online discount and mail-in-rebate.
