Default largest compatible capacity microSD card?

I am wondering what is the largest capacity MicroSD card that will work with the Dash? I know that SanDisk makes a 4GB MicroSDHC card, will this work with the HTC Dash?

here is a link to the sandisk website:

http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item(2369)-SDSDQ-4096-SanDisk_microSDHC_4GB.aspx

Thanks,

SDHC cards are not supported on Windows Mobile devices at this time. So stay clear of them. Otherwise, you should be fine. I've got a 2GB card in my BlackJack and it works great.

Some people have reported success with 4gb non-SDHC cards, but I'm a bit wary. Here is a thread on it:

That only works for SD and MiniSD, since there are no 4 GB MicroSD cards available that aren't SDHC.

So they aren't supported, but do they work?

No, they don't work, except in devices which are specifically SDHC compatible. I don't think any current Smartphones are included in that.

So the highest I can go is 2GB?

Correct. Unless of course some company produces a non-SDHC 4GB MicroSD card, but that's unlikely.

See this thread

As you can see, myself (and others) have found that the 4GB Sandisk cards work just fine in the S710 and the selling sites are claiming that other HTC devices (the Dash and the Touch) are also compatable.

So I now have 4GB of music and video on my smartphone 8)
