Default HTC Confirms Windows Mobile 6 Timings for the S620 (Excalibur)

http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=4034

"Together with HTC Europe's release of the Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrade for the HTC TyTN, HTC also confirmed that it will release other long awaited Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrades during/from August. HTC said that the Windows Mobile 6 upgrades for the HTC P3300 (HTC Artemis - Windows Mobile 6 Professional), HTC S620 (HTC Excalibur - Windows Mobile 6 Standard) and HTC Advantage X7500 (HTC Athena - Windows Mobile 6 Professional) are scheduled from August as well."

The users of the T-Mobile Dash, an Excalibur variant, have been enjoying the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for quite some time now. It is stable, adds small features throughout the operating system and of course the feature I like the most, the HTML email support. Like Arne, I would urge our readers who have an HTC device to sign up for the HTC eClub account. This way you will be ready for the update the instant it becomes available. :-) Wish HTC had provided a firm release date for this important update.

I've been wondering what happened to this update. Glad to hear it's still coming. Now where in the world is the BlackJack upgrade?

I tried registering on this site a few months ago and then again today after reading the article. In both cases I never get the Activation Email. Anyone else having this problem?

I just registered and got the email no problem. Make sure that @HTC.com is on your safe list.
