Default Finally, a working BT Kbd for the 5600?

Think Outside finally released the driver for their Stowaway BT Kbd for use with the Audiovox SMT5600. I just ordered the device from CDW and will post my experience with it shortly.

Been waiting for this awhile now, sure hope it lives up to the hype...

Hope it works well. Make sure to let us know... I'd be interested in buying one if it works well.

There's lots of talk going on around here about this keyboard. The latest thread can be found here along with a link to Amazon who are selling the keyboard for only $91 (versus $150 from ThinkOutside)

Since Think Outside released thee drivers, there have been a lot of talk around here about the keyboard. If you do a search for "Think Outside" you'll find lots of info on it. Including this review from Arne @ the::unwired

I just started another thread about this, not just about this model, but asking for comparisons of all such BT PDA keyboards. Anyone interested might like to take a look:

Better price????? :?: :?:

Since when is $124.95 a "better price" than the $91 you can get the TO Kbd for from Amazon? (I've seen it still cheaper at some online places, like $84 or so.)

Do you work for Dell by any chance?

Default if you clicked the link

if you had of clicked the link you would of realized thats 125 cdn dollars. The link to Amazon is in US dollars so it's considerbly cheaper for us north of the border.

If you click on thinkoutside website they want a 149 US for the keyboard! Since Dell is in canada we don't pay any duty charges going over the border and no shipping charges....

so if you know of any one in Canada selling it cheaper then 84$ cdn I will stand corret.

Well, I did click on the link, or I wouldn't have known the price was $125. You hadn't mentioned that. It wasn't clear to me that the price was Canadian dollars. That may have been in the fine print, but it wasn't obvious.

I don't know the exchange rate. Is $125 Canadian less than $84 US? Even if so, if anyone living in the US were to order it from Canada, I don't know if there would be import fees added, etc. What price is it on the US Dell web site?

Your comparing that price to $149 on the TO web site doesn't make sense. Someone would have to be completely ignorant of how to compare prices to pay $150 (US) for it, when they can buy the same product for $85 US. I doubt TO sells many directly from their site, they mostly sell to retailers.

Were you not aware of the $85-90 prices for this product? That has been mentioned many times on this site, including earlier in this thread.
