Yup, but we did that on purpose:

"I welcome you to all visit and register at Smartphone Thoughts! Yes, that's right, you'll have to re-register in the forums, so come grab your preferred username while you can. We technically had the abiility to port over our entire user database, but we felt it would be a violation of privacy to move personal information (name, email address, etc.) to a new site without permission to do so."
Just adding my two cents to this issue... I think it is much better to keep the site databases seperate. I for one don't want my information just spread to new web-sites without permission. Thanks to Jason for thinking this over, and I think he made the right choice.

Nope - you've got plenty of time! We're going to go over the prizes for a few days and then select/announce all of the winners later (end of this week or maybe next week)

So... if you win that smart phone, you couldn't actually use it beyond development stuff, right?

It says "this device not certified for network access"... too bad. I still want it, though. Not like I could actually pay for the service if by chance it comes over here.

I am wondering the same thing. Also, if you live in the U.S. and win the smartphone (I hope), can we use it as a phone or only to play around with?

If you have a valid SIM card from a GSM provider (ATT/T-Mobile), you can just pop it into the phone.
