Between some server issues this morning and the fact that two of the editors (myself, admittedly, one of them) have been swamped with deadlines, the front page is a little slower than usual today. Good to know. Yeah, I was shocked to see all the Thoughts' sites down this morning. It was like not having power...I was bored and felt like surfing, so I loaded PPCT, only to remember it was down...then 5 minutes later, DMT...drats, same thing. Oh and SPT? Bah it was a long morning without them.
Oh, and no one needs to comment that I should have been doing something more productive...or that I should be doing something more productive now. :P
Having the site down was bad enough, but for the last couple of days I've had a worse problem; I can no longer read the forums at work!
We have Symantic software to prevent access to "inappropriate" sites, and they've apparently made some changes to it. In the past, it's just blocked individual items on a page, but now, although I can get to the PPCT forum topics page, I can't look at individual threads. I just get --

I can get to forums on some other sites I've tried, but it's also apparently found something it didn't like at Powells.com. I can look at book descriptions of hardcover books, not not ebooks. :roll:
