NotesToday 1.3.0 is now available from the software page at enVision Software. This is the trial/upgrade only. The full version will be available from Handango within the week and from PocketGear within the next two weeks. Since it is the upgrade, current owners can get 1.3.0 by upgrading their current full version.



"NotesToday version 1.3.0 is a complete rewrite that has a new framework, which will allow many more of the requested features to be added. Many of them are already added, but some, like alarms, won't make it in until 1.3.1 or 1.3.2 depending on how things go. New to 1.3.0 are the following major features and bug fixes:

1) Virtually unlimited notes
2) Fully skinnable interface
3) Independently configurable pen colors and sizes and background colors and images
4) A simple file open and save dialog
5) A reworked options dialog
6) Dynamically loaded notes, so the boot process isn't slowed
7) Save Note As...
8) Load an image from a file to the note
9) Reworked autosave feature to improve speed
10) Better VGA compatability
11) A few fixed bugs and plugged memory leaks
12) Extended safety measures to avoid some of the potential problems with the Today API"



The NotesToday home page has also been updated with a skin file reference page and a page with some sample skins available for download.
