Adds to around $360 (excluding all the electricity it takes to run )

Seems to me that should be cheaper than $15. If I'm going to pay $15/mo for an account on top of the actual internet access, I'd want shell access. But I suppose that's just me.

I can see it as being useful if you don't want to give up your @aol.com email address, though. I guess I'm just surprised it's not cheaper.

BYOA seems pretty lame. I don't get it. Does AOL really offer that much extra content?
