I don't use Outlook (gasp!) -- I use my PPC as the sole repository of all my appointments, and I use other email clients. (That way I don't experience the nightmares of ActiveStink that I keep reading so much about.)

Someone earlier in this thread mentioned a $20 application that added holidays. That seems a bit much for the half-dozen holidays a year I care about (I mean, I think I can keep track of New Year's Day, July 4, and Christmas without putting them on my calendar!). This would seem like a natural for freeware. I haven't looked recently -- does anyone know of any that would do just the basic holidays for the next five years or so?

It's pretty simple to do but does take a few minutes depending on how many duplicates there are.

1. Open Outlook XP from your desktop.
2. Open the Calendar section.
3. Click on the view menu -> Current View -> Events
4. Right click on the duplice entries and choose delete.

That should work.
It Does! Thank :way to go:

Default DatePal Pro does more than just add holidays!

A better way to add holidays to your PPC calendar is with DatePal Pro. DatePal Pro not only adds holidays, but it removes them also. This is very handy if you are traveling to different countries and want to know the holidays, but wish to unclutter your calendar upon your return home. Outlook does not provide a method for removing holidays. Also, DatePal Pro does not require syncing. The addition/removal of a holiday is immediate and requires just a couple of taps.

In addition, DatePal Pro provides a powerful calendar search, a calendar cleanup feature (to remove old expired appointments), and a customization wizard that lets you add your own holidays and events to DatePal Pro's already huge list of holidays.

Click Here for more information. (A demo version is available)
