The mobile version of the Application Blocks provide the following building blocks - Data Access, Exception Management, Caching and Offline. Folks who are familiar with Microsoft patterns and practices initiative, will appreciate the availability of this release aimed at the mobile world. Now mobile application developers can write complex applications a little quicker and these blocks will help them structure their code properly. :-) Another thing I would like to add to this post, the Application Blocks are included in the Smart Device Framework v1.3 release.
