I have been trying to get both time and date in on line on the hone screen but they are getting on top of each other.

This is the code:

<time font-size="14"/> <date x="50" font-size="14"/>
</plugin>

or use the carrier plugin (has same functionality, but more 'features')

Try the halign attribute...
