Simply use the shortcuts option of the Smartphone and a simple press and hold of the assigned key will launch the application or call a contact.

To assign an application, go to the Start Menu, and scroll down to the app you want to add to the Speed Dial selection. Press menu and select Add Speed Dial.

For a Contact, just open the contact and select the number, email or website you wish to add to te speed dial and add it via the menu.
