I didn't know PPCs could handle any Adobe files with DRM (either ebook or PDF format)? I did see something about the latest version being able to handle ebooks, but it seemed nobody could actually get it to work.

Anyway, the PPC reading experience is much more pleasant with ereader, Mobipocket, or MSReader.

I regularly read tagged PDFs on a Toshiba e330 running WinPPC 3.0. The tagged files allow you to size the fonts any way you'd like. The only problem I've ever had is an occasional scrolling problem (sometimes the scroll will bounce back to the top of a page, instead of on to the next one). But considering the ease of creating and reading them, the scroll issue is no big (although if Adobe would kindly fix it in their next PPC reader, I'd appreciate it).

Is it just me being overly sensitive or is offering this book on the insensitive inappropriate side for what is happening in London right now?

Why would it be inappropriate? I'm not going to engage in politics and life issues here, but bottom line, after all that has happened in London, the most appropriate thing to do would be to stand up and go about one's daily life. No matter what happens, nothing will disrupt Londoners and its tourists.

Besides, eReader.com has already offered the New York and Paris books. It was probably determined before July even began. Methinks some get too sensitive about this sort of thing.
