Don't know where to set it on TomTom but the GPS in the Tytn produces data on COM 4 at 9600 Bps. I have the ATT Tilt, which should be essentially the same device, and have been pretty impressed by the GPS. I'm using Mapopolis and a couple of online things that can read GPS data, Windows Live Search and Virtual Earth Mobile.
