Hadn't used my rx3115 in a month. When I tried to sync it all I could sync was the favorites file, all others "required attention" retried with the same results. Tried to reload the HP iPAQ Companion CD and got error messages. 1)automation server can't create object. 2)objutils' is null or not an object. Next I downloaded activesync 4.5, tried to install and got the error message "system not modified". Tried this on both desktop and laptop with same results. What can I try next?

Try deleting your old partnership and sync using a new one. This might cause some duplicate Outlook entries though, so make sure you have a dedup program handy!
