sd card in 5550

Default sd card in 5550
I have just go my first PDA a ipaq5550 and i can not get the SD card to work in memory under the storage card tab the total storage all ways says 17.40mb even if there is no sd card inserted or my 128mb card is inserted can any one help

it sounds like you need to select the drop down menu and pick the memmory card. you are seeing the memmory for the built in flash mem. (ipaq store).

there is a arrow pointing down just too the right of the memmory amount. click on this and a menu will dropdown showing the choices. good luck too you

What brand is the card?
We have issues with PQI and lesser known brand cards in both the 54xx & the 55xx.

Default Dropdown Menu
There is nothing in the drop down menu it must be the SD card it is a unbranded one going to take it bake to PC World this morning and try another brand. Thank You for your help

Default SD card
The SD card was ok it was the ipaq that was faulty go a replacment and it works fine now.
