Default Screen Scratched
My 830 screen is pretty well scratched to hell, so I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a replacement touchscreen (NOT the actual LCD screen, the layer above it) I can install it myself.

You might check eBay, particularly for otherwise broken units with intact digitizers. Buying one new would be prohibitively expensive, I think.
