I doubt that uninstalling Pocket Hosts removes the registry entries - I think that the hosts remain in the registry.

I only installed PocketHosts and never configured any host entries. I just installed the application in case I ever needed to add host entries. I plan to install it again to see if it was the cause of my problem.
