Microsoft really should have stated that Pocket PC 2003 doesn't require host settings in order to sync wirelessly.

Simply uninstalling Pocket Hosts probably will not help. Pocket Hosts places the host names into the registry for you - basically, it is a helper app that makes entering hosts into the registry much easier to do. I doubt that uninstalling Pocket Hosts removes the registry entries - I think that the hosts remain in the registry.

I only installed PocketHosts and never configured any host entries. I just installed the application in case I ever needed to add host entries. I plan to install it again to see if it was the cause of my problem.
