Default This post will be helpful.

If you fry your rom on your hx4700 while trying to install an update, follow these instructions to fix it.

Dont worry! It will work!

1. Open Romupdate
2. Kill Activesync by going to Ctrl + Alt + Del and closing...
3. Put iPAQ into bootloader mode by going button 2+ button 3 + power and reset.
4. Put device in cradle.
5. Open romupdate.exe
6. Select port WCEUSBH001 and click ok
7. Hit enter once until you se USB>
8. Type command lnb nk.nb0 (LNB not INB, and not caps)
9. It will load rom.
10. Soft Reset device, and your done!!!

Use ultraedit to hexedit the ROM file and get rid of the first 2300 (i think) bytes. Then you will have the raw rom. Name the rom nk.nb0 .
