Some weeks ago, I've reported on the rumored new WM5 upgrade for the x50 series. Now, it has turned out to be existing. Please read this and this for the first user reports.

The upgrade is already downloadable in this AximSite thread. Just make sure you look for Jurij's posts dated today - you'll, sooner or later, will find it.

Just spent the last half hour reading through that thread. Seems very interesting. Hopefully, the official update will be released in the coming weeks - and then I may finally keep Windows Mobile 5.0 on my X50v for good.

It would be nice to see the update finally come out, I have almost given up all interest in my X50v. In fact I have not carried it in over two weeks, for the first time I am actually thinking of replacing it. I can't decide if I want to go with the Treo 700wx or the UT Starcom 6700.

I might decide to keep my ax if I can finally upgrade to WM5 and have my ax run properly.

It has been also officially released in the meantime - that is, you don't need to PM Juraj any more for the update but can download it from the official Dell homepage. Please visit
